SaddleBrooke Libraries: A Treasure Trove of Knowledge And Community Engagement

SaddleBrooke is a beautiful active adult community situated in the Sonoran Desert of Southern Arizona. The community is well known for its beautiful views, golf courses, and active lifestyle. One of the many amenities that SaddleBrooke has to offer is its libraries. SaddleBrooke has three libraries, which are located in the Desert view, Mountain view, and SaddleBrooke One activity centers. These libraries are a hub of knowledge and entertainment for the residents of the community.

History of SaddleBrooke Libraries:

The first library in SaddleBrooke was established in 1990, and it was located in the Desert view activity center. The library was set up by a group of dedicated volunteers who were passionate about books and reading. The initial collection of the library consisted of 500 books, and it was managed entirely by volunteers.

As the community grew, the demand for library services increased, and in 1994, a second library was opened in the Mountain view activity center. This library had a larger collection of books, and it was also managed by volunteers. The Mountain view library was designed to cater to the needs of the residents who lived in the eastern part of the community.

In 1998, a third library was established in the SaddleBrooke One activity center. This library was set up to cater to the needs of the residents who lived in the western part of the community. The SaddleBrooke One library also had a larger collection of books and was managed entirely by volunteers.

Services Offered by Saddle Brooke Libraries:

SaddleBrooke libraries offer a wide range of services to the residents of the community. These services include:

1. Books: The libraries have a large collection of books, including fiction, non fiction, biographies, and reference books. The collection is updated regularly, and residents can request books that are not available in the library.
2. Magazines and Newspapers: The libraries have subscriptions to a wide range of magazines and newspapers. Residents can read the latest issues of their favorite magazines and newspapers in the library.
3. Audio Books: The libraries have a collection of audio books that residents can borrow. These audio books are available in CD and MP3 formats.
4. DVDs: The libraries have a collection of DVDs that residents can borrow. The collection includes movies, documentaries, and TV series.
5. E-Books: The libraries have a collection of e-books that residents can borrow. These e-books are available in Kindle and EPUB formats.
